Sleep Hygiene - Why its so important

Topic: Today our topic is Sleep Hygiene. We are continuing a 4 part series on the 4 pillars of health and fitness; Food Prep, Sleep Hygiene, Resistance Training, NEAT. Today we will be focused on sleep. 

Problem: I would argue there are 3 true needs in life to keep the body alive and thriving: 1) Eat/drink, 2) clothing/shelter, and 3) sleep/recovery.

Sleep is one of the most powerful things your body needs and it can unleash all kinds of benefits when you get enough quality and quantity. At the same time, not enough sleep can be very harmful to body, and in some cases it has cause serious problems.
